Since its creation in 1884, Bulgari has drawn inspiration from the architectural splendor of Rome, the city where it was founded. It was on the famous Via dei Condotti, the very exclusive street leading to the Spanish Steps, that Sotirios Voulgaris opened his first store in 1905. The emblems of the Eternal City are rooted in the house's identity, right down to the Latin "V" lettering in the Bulgari logo. And the Divas' Dream collection, initially launched in 2016, is no exception.
Bulgari has just expanded the Divas' Dream line with 9 new pieces. Each of these jewels features a variation of the collection's iconic fan-shaped motif. This sensual design is inspired by the sumptuous polychrome geometric mosaics on the floor of the iconic Baths of Caracalla in Rome. These baths were the second largest public baths in ancient Rome, dating back to the early 200s AD. The jewelry house proudly contributed in its own way to the revival and recognition of these magnificent works of art.

Feminine and opulent jewels
The splendid precious materials from which they are forged highlight the femininity of the jewels, as well as the magnificence of Rome. Among the notable pieces in these Diva's Dream jewels is this striking three-tier necklace, the result of a subtle play between proportions, volume, and negative space. The original design is composed of three fan-shaped elements:
- An openwork one
- One with diamond inserts
- Finally, one with a pearl insert.
This Bulgari necklace is set in 18-carat gold with diamond-paved edges highlighting each fan.
The house also presented a pendant, a bracelet, and a ring. They are all set in 18-carat gold with diamond pavé accents. Each design is offered in two variations – one with mother-of-pearl inserts, the other with malachite. The expert technique required to cut the pearl and malachite into these delicate shapes testifies to Bulgari's impeccable craftsmanship.
