The House of M. Gérard
“I have but one desire, to create and realize the most beautiful jewelry in the world,” declared Louis Gérard, the founder of the House of M. Gérard. A global specialist in gemology, Louis Gérard established his own company in 1968 with the support of the Countess de Ribes, after gaining valuable experience at Van Cleef & Arpels as a master jeweler.
M. Gérard: A Worldwide Reputation
In just a decade, the House of M. Gérard distinguished itself as one of the greatest French jewelers, renowned for its luxury jewelry of unparalleled quality. Although Louis Gérard sold his house to a group of American investors in 1985, he managed to reopen it in 1988 with the support of many admirers, including actress Marisa Berenson. The house permanently closed its doors in December 1991 under the name Louis Gérard, International Jeweler.
M. Gérard Jewelry: Timeless Creations
The M. Gérard brand is known for its ability to merge three styles into one, reflecting the motto of its creator: the tradition of yesterday, the quality of always, and the creation of the future. Louis Gérard is distinguished by the exceptional quality of the jewels used, as well as the complexity and delicacy of his creations. Today, M. Gérard jewelry has become rare and highly sought after, particularly the M. Gérard rings.
