Piaget

The Origin of Piaget: A Passion for Watchmaking

It was in the Jura region of Switzerland that Georges-Édouard Piaget, founder of the Piaget watchmaking manufacture, began his career as a watchmaker. In 1874, he established his first workshop in La Côte-aux-Fées, focusing on the production of pocket watches and movements. Thanks to his expertise, his creations quickly gained recognition, attracting major Swiss brands. In 1911, Timothée Piaget, son of Georges-Édouard, took the reins of the company. Following the patriarch's death in 1931, the brand ceased outsourcing and focused on producing its own pieces. The Piaget brand was officially registered in 1943.

Revolutionary Watches and Sumptuous Jewelry

Piaget stands out for its innovative watches and exceptional jewelry. Each creation is the result of exceptional craftsmanship, blending modern equipment with traditional techniques. Piaget's engineers design manual and automatic movements, but the ultra-thin remains the house's iconic signature. Piaget watches are renowned for their technical prowess and timeless design, attracting horology enthusiasts.

In high jewelry, Piaget makes no compromises. Gemologists, jewelers, and setters collaborate to create jewelry of stunning beauty. Each piece is characterized by the fluidity of materials, fidelity to designs, and delicate finishes, showcasing the talent and care that go into their creation.
