Puiforcat: A Tradition of Excellence Since 1820
Located at 16 Rue Chapon in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the House of Puiforcat began as an exceptional cutlery brand founded by Émile Puiforcat in collaboration with his cousins Jean-Baptiste Fuchs and Félix Armand Puiforcat. This visionary trio created unique pieces that marked the inception of a refined silverware tradition.
Under the guidance of Jean Puiforcat, an influential silversmith and designer of the Modern and Art Deco movements, the House of Puiforcat rose to become one of the leading silverware manufacturers. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the house, led by Louis-Victor Puiforcat, produced extraordinary works that are now preserved in the Louvre Museum. Since 1993, Puiforcat has been part of the prestigious Hermès group, further solidifying its status among luxury brands.
