“ For me, freedom is the most important thing, ” Francesca said in an interview in Marrakech, the city she chose to unveil to the public for the first time the first 80 pieces of the 125-piece Spirit collection. “ You know, I’m a very free spirit. “ You know, we are a logo brand, ” Francesca said. “ But it is very important to create recognizable codes. For her Spirit high jewelry collection, mythical creatures are a major theme. For example, the striking Radiance necklace looks like it came straight out of Game of Thrones. It takes the form of a suit of armor made of shimmering gold scales that encircle the neck. At its center, a fiery orange 10.99-carat spessartite garnet, framed by a V-shaped motif set with baguette diamonds, commands attention. “I wanted to incorporate animals from the moment I arrived at Vuitton,” Francesca confirmed. “ But I didn’t want figurative animals, because we’re not that kind of house. ”
This mythological approach, where dragons and phoenixes are sources of inspiration, could remain a source of inspiration for future collections.
